The brief
A professional portfolio site for a legal and consulting practice. The audience is people deciding whether to trust someone with something consequential, usually after a recommendation and before a first conversation.
The challenge
A personal practice cannot hide behind a firm's branding. The site had to carry authority without the visual language of a large firm, and had to present a long career without turning into a CV nobody scrolls to the end of. Professional restraint mattered as much as design: in this field, anything that looks like marketing undermines the thing it is marketing.
The result
A restrained site that sets out the practice, the experience behind it and how to make contact, in a form that reads as professional rather than promotional.
